Ministry of Industry & Commerce
Industrial policy in Sri Lanka has been designed with a view to address key challenges and issues faced by large, medium and small scale enterprises and also micro-industries and place them in a higher growth path. Die & Mould manufacturing has been considered as the mother industry of the manufacturing sector and the Ministry of Industry & Commerce has decided to setup a facilitation centre to cater the related services and thereby assist the development of the die & mould making sector. An advisory committee has been setup for this purpose with resource persons from public and private sectors and also from universities. The Ministry will play a major role by allocating funds for setting up the Centre.
